Cash prize to beat COVID bills!

Eddie's major $2,100 Horizon cash prize win is going toward meeting household expenses.

The Pasifika father of seven says some of his grown children have lost working income during COVID-19 lockdowns and restrictions.

So the cash is going to help pay bills for his Manurewa, Auckland, household.

When told of his win he said: "Awesome, that's good news". Then took a moment, and said: "Wow!"

Eddie's name was drawn from all members of Horizon's research panels as at midnight September 30.

The manufacturing sector supervisor joined our HorizonPoll nationwide panel in August 2010.

"I enjoy doing the surveys. When I joined I saw there was a chance to go into the competition to win some money."

Now he's a winner.
